Rhiwgoch Farm is a 10-acre smallholding overlooking the
Aeron Valley and Cardigan Bay, with the Lleyn Peninsular on the
horizon. The two cottages are converted from a 19-century cow barn
and are comfortably furnished to a high standard.
Accommodating four people, each cottage has
2 double bedrooms. The living, dining and kitchen areas are open
plan, with a 3-seater sofa and 2-seater sofa-bed, a 21” colour
television , DVD player and set top box to facilitate all Freeview
channels. There is a pine dining suite and a fully equipped kitchen
area,
including cooker, fridge and microwave.
Each cottage has a shower room
with toilet and wash-hand basin.
All rooms, including the shower room
and hallway, have individual heaters.
In the hallway between the cottages is a
freezer for each cottage, a shared washing machine and dryer, and
ironing facilities.
We also provide a selection of books, games,
and DVDs
A cot and high-chair are available on
request.
At the back of each cottage,
over-looking the Aeron Valley and pasture land, is a
secluded patio area with table, chairs and
parasol.
There is also a large garden with beautiful
views, which guests are
invited to enjoy.
The accommodation is ideal for families and
well-behaved pets are welcome , for no extra charge.
We
have large
fields in which dogs may be walked, provided they do not disturb the
sheep.
We
are organic gardeners and encourage wild-life to our garden,
including a vast variety of birds.
These include all the common garden birds,
as well as jays, nut-hatches, greater-spotted woodpeckers, sparrow
hawks and pheasants.
We often see red kites and buzzards overhead
and , in the fields, we also see
rabbits, hares, foxes
and hedgehogs .
